1. What Is Shipping Protection?

ECOROAD partners with Seel, a global logistics protection provider, to safeguard your order against unexpected shipping issues. Customers covered by Seel protection receive priority support throughout the process.

When you add Shipping Protection at checkout, your order is covered for:

  • 📦 Package loss
  • 🔧 Shipping-related damage
  • ⏱ Delivery delays

This optional service ensures a fast and simple claim process without waiting for long courier investigations.
(Protection is activated once the order is shipped.)

 

2. Why Add Shipping Protection?

Electric scooters are large, high-value items. Shipping protection gives you:

  • Faster compensation decisions

  • No complicated courier disputes

3. Coverage Details

📦 Package Loss

A package is considered lost when:

  • Domestic orders: no delivery or tracking updates for 30+ days after shipment
  • Cross-border orders: no delivery or updates for 60+ days
  • Or tracking explicitly shows “lost”

Compensation:

  • Up to 100% of the order value (excluding shipping and protection fees)

 

🔧 Shipping Damage

If your scooter arrives damaged due to transportation:

  • Claim must be submitted within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos of: Outer packaging / Damaged product

Compensation:

  • Partial or full refund based on damage severity 

 

⏱ Delivery Delay

If your order is significantly delayed:

  • Domestic: not delivered within 10 days after shipment
  • Cross-border: not delivered within 30 days

Compensation:

  • Fixed goodwill compensation (amount determined by Seel) 

Note: Delay claims do not affect future loss or damage claims.

Filing a claim is simple and takes only a few minutes:

  1. Visit the Seel Resolution Center
  2. Enter your order information
  3. Select the issue type
  4. Upload required photos or documents
  5. Submit and wait for review

Most claims are processed within a few business days.

Please review before adding protection:

  • Available only at checkout
  • Cannot be added after shipment
  • Becomes active once the order ships
  • Non-refundable after activation
