EK6 Electric Scooter

This is a good scooter for kids. My daughter is a bit young and hasn’t figured it out quite yet. You need to have a decent rolling start before the electric can be used. My fiancé was able to ride it briefly, albeit slowly since it’s not meant for that adult weight. It is a good, smooth ride with a good turning radius and braking ability. The lights are cool and a nice touch! Good for at night for visibility.

The scooter is really nice. Setup was super easy out of the box, all the tools were included or just basic ones if you ever lose them to get the handlebar and kickstand setup. General build quality seems durable and built to the suggested rider weight limits. Sizing is good for kids, i like that the handles can be adjusted easily as they grow of for siblings. Controls are easy to get, it uses a push to start motor with the throttle so it won't take off by accident. The different speed controls work well and are easy to setup as your kid progresses. I like that the units can be swapped really easily from MPH to KPH as i don't have a clue what MPH speeds should feel like or be. Breaks seem good and we liked the flashy lights too. Charger is good quality and is fully rated for the Canadian market.

Hills seem a bit of a challenge if the speed drops below the push to start threshold. The 150W should be more than enough to get them up one. This isn't unique to this scooter as we experienced the same with another riding kid's scooter. Its a bit of a bummer but being realistic we don't want the kids going to far with them anyway either. On that note we haven't really run into issues with the battery it is lasting enough for what we are expecting of them. But worth looking at what other reviewers are mentioning as potentially being a factor for you and the suggested age limits for the rider.

Overall its great to have a second electric scooter option for the kids to avoid the dreaded scooter envy between them. And we really like that this one grows with them as they progress.

I initially bought both my boys the EC9 but it was a too big for my youngest son bought this one and it‘’s AMAZING. Perfect for our 5 year oldWe kept the EC9 for an extra scooter for my husband and I. Great product!

I had previously rated this scooter 2 starts because the back brake broke 2 days after opening but someone got in touch with me and helped me get my problems resolved. Im very happy and satisfied with the service I received and other than the brake problem which has been resolved I am happy with the performance of the scooter.

Great scooter. Charger was broken and I had to rewire it with a different one. Now that charger doesn't work. But two chargers on Amazon, but they didn't fit. Need to know what size charger it is.

Grandson loved this that he received on Christmas. Works good after a short charge. Received timely.

Easy to setup. My grandkids love these scooters.

Have had the scooter for not even a week, and the charger has been used twice. Metal piece of charger broke 2nd time plugging it in with zero force needed. Scared to order a replacement and it not work.

The scooter looks great and was easy to put together. It charges up pretty fast and the battery lasts for a few hours of use. My son finds it easy to use and comfortable to ride. Overall it works great and the kids have fun with it.

This product worked perfectly: not only mechanically, it also succeeded in getting my grandkids to WANT to do something non-screen-related outside. Add in the time spent with the easy installation, and this worked-out better than hoped! The 3-speed settings and ability to change the handle-bar height makes it fun to ride for both my grandsons when they come to visit. I make sure they have decent helmets (seizing the opportunity to teach them good safety habits at a young age. Lastly, both the kickstand and charger are nice touches, adding to the overall value of the scooter.Bottom line - A fun device that the kids love!

I ordered this scooter for our daughter who is 9 years old and 4'7'' tall. It fits her perfectly, although we had to set the handlebar height to max. She had a couple of electric scooters before that were more basic and smaller, so this one was a good next step for her. She absolutely loves this scooter and has already been riding it for some time. The scooter is very easy and fun to ride, everything is intuitive. We all like that there are side and rear lights making her more visible in the dark. There are two controls for the breaks at the foot and the manual located on the sidebar. You can choose one of three speed modes from slow to fast. However, even the fast mode is still reasonable, which is yet another safety feature. Charging the scooter from near zero to full takes approximately two hours or even less. There is also a kickstand that is easy to operate for kids. Now, there are a few cons as well that we should mention. The first is the lack of headlight. While having side and rear lights is awesome, adding headlight would have been even better. The second is switching between the three speed modes tends to be a bit tricky. She complains periodically that it takes lots of pushing the control button and takes time. I just wonder if that could've been made a bit more straightforward, especially for the kids. Finally, the last con is the biggest. The battery life is somewhat short. While riding to the nearby park on the full charge, just getting there it drops to only two bars on the charge indicator and by the time she gets back, it is almost zero. However, the distance to the park is less than two miles and on the old scooter she could easily get there back and forth and had more charge left. Overall, I still consider this scooter to be good for kids taking into account all the pros it has to offer. Most importantly though, is that our daughter loves it!

Don't know much about how it works except my grandson loves it and the different speeds puts a grin on his face.

granted, it suppose to be for small children however the speed is really bad and my kid (7 and 10) simply stopped using it after 1 day. Charge is ok, battery life is ok however it is super small and mostly made of plastic. Sadly this did not work for us, it feels too cheap.

It's good for a starter scooter. My daughter loves it. It is not a super fast scooter, but for someone just learning.How to ride?It is perfect.Could not ask for a better scooter

It a Christmas gift and I haven't assembled yet. But when I open the box looks easy to assambly. I thought was small but is a really good size to be use it for older kids. I will do ing another review after Christmas to said how good is the speed and noise level. Update: you need to make few steps before start is good for safety I can said. Had two breaks and 3 speed

Set up, seems legit. It's an Xmas gift but I took a spin around the house and it's got some power

No complaints except I wish it folded for when it's put away. My daughter is in love with this. We absolutely love that she has the hand throttle and brake for safety and control, but also the emergency brake for backup. She loves being able to see the battery and speed setting on her screen and able to turn on and off using a button. I may buy one for my son! Wish they had the 2 scooter deal when I bought her scooter.

My grandson absolutely loves this, he's only 4 years d but he's good on it.

Bought my nephew who is 8 and my son who is 6 this scooter. Super easy to put together and they both love it. Would recommend and I do think it's safer among many electric scooters for children due to the set mph
